Fallout 4 Virgil Hostile

A Loose End is a quest that can be obtained within the Commonwealth, in Fallout 4.

Fallout 4 offers four key factions that can be joined, each with their own quests, items, story, characters, and experiences. The question that every player will find themselves asking is 'Which faction is the best?' While this is very much subjective and varies from player to player, here is a comprehensive list of the pros and cons of each. That wiki was a great help as I want to give Virgil the serum so I can't decline Father's offer at first meeting him, however I'm torn between ending it after Bunker Hill (negative conversation with Father) or progressing through the institute quests until Pinned where I will side with the minutemen at Graygardens against the Institute so I can also become hostile towards the Brotherhood of.

Synopsis

It is expressed that the Brotherhood of Steel considers Virgil to be a threat, even after his help in infiltrating the Institute. Eliminate him, and prove the Sole Survivor's loyalty to the war effort.

Walkthrough

  1. Lancer-Captain Kells will reveal that Virgil is considered a priority target for assassination, even after his help towards the BoS cause, and his death is a priority mission now for the Sole Survivor.
  2. Upon reaching the rocky cave, the Sole Survivor may choose from a myriad of options in how they want to deal with Virgil:
  3. Should Virgil already be dead, this quest can be immediately completed by informing Kells.
  4. The Sole Survivor may simply kill Virgil, which can be made relatively easier by curing him with the experimental serum. His turrets and protectron guardians must also be dealt with.
  5. Should the Sole Survivor lie to Virgil and tell him that the serum was destroyed, he can be convinced to go down without a fight, which also includes his guardians.
  6. The Sole Survivor may choose to lie for Virgil, in which he will remain in the rocky case.
  7. After reporting back to Lancer-Captain Kells, the Sole Survivor will be rewarded with a unique t-60c helm.

  1. Fallout 4: Virgil's Serum Location. You should be able to fast travel there unless you've been hostile to the residents. More Fallout 4 Guides.
  2. The experimental serum is a quest item in Fallout 4. Characteristics Edit. As its name suggests, it is an experimental serum created by Virgil during his time at the Institute, in order to counter the effects of the Forced Evolutionary Virus on a subject. Location Edit. Located inside the FEV lab, in the BioScience division inside the Institute.
  3. Nov 15, 2015 Virgil is Hostile I am at the point where Virgil has already rested and every time I try to go see him after giving him the Serum he attacks me. Tried doing the Perk for pacifying but it won't let you talk to him either.
