Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego shares a campus with many physician offices and medical buildings, including the O’Toole Breast Care Center.
We’re home to notable specialty services, including a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit).

Information for patients and visitors
Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego is located on a busy medical campus. Below you’ll find tips to make your visit as seamless as possible.
Because Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego is in a high-traffic neighborhood, we recommend allowing extra time for travel.
Our main entrance is on 5th Avenue between Washington Avenue and Lewis Street, with parking available in the adjacent multilevel structure on Lewis.

Scripps Mercy charges for parking after 30 minutes. We also offer valet parking for an additional fee. Our rates are as follows:
- First 30 minutes: Free
- 31 minutes to 3 hours: $4
- Each additional hour after 3 hours: $1
- Maximum per day: $10
- Valet parking: Additional $5
Parking for disabled visitors and clergy is free. Visitors with disabilities can receive validation from a parking attendant. Clergy can receive validation from the administrative office.
Parking fees may be paid by cash, check or credit card. For your convenience an ATM is located on the first floor of the hospital, near the coffee cart in the lobby.

The court lobby is open 30 minutes before the beginning of the court session, five days per week (except for holidays). Sign-in sheets are located on the small table near the reception window. Please sign-in and follow posted instructions. Items may be date stamped and filed at the reception desk.
Walk-through hours are 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We apologize for any increased wait time before the court can hear your cases or process your documents. Please let the court know if you feel your case is an emergency and we will do whatever is possible to assist you.
Children should not be brought to court.
